Career exploration
Work is being reshaped by technology, climate, healthcare demand, creative industries and public service. A career is a sequence of roles and skills, not a single job title chosen at 17. This programme helps students notice that landscape without claiming to predict it.
A job is a role. A career is a longer arc. A degree is one possible preparation: not always required, not always sufficient. Students compare these three so a course brochure is not mistaken for a life plan.
New titles appear around climate, data, design, care work, public policy, creator economies and applied science. Emerging does not mean guaranteed. Students learn how to research demand, skills and training routes before treating a headline as a destination.
Many useful lives sit between subjects: design and technology, biology and computing, economics and public health, law and climate. The programme treats combination as normal, not as a failure to pick a stream.
